Restaurant rankings are an imperfect instrument. No list captures the full reality of an experience. That said, consistent recognition from different systems — Michelin, the World’s 50 Best, La Liste, the White Guide — does tell you something real. When a restaurant appears at or near the top of all of them, simultaneously, the weight of evidence is hard to dismiss.

La Liste & other recognition
La Liste aggregates data from Michelin, local guides, and critic reviews to produce the most comprehensive global restaurant ranking. In 2023, Frantzén was ranked #1 on La Liste. It also received a perfect 100/100 score in Falstaff’s Nordic Restaurant Guide in 2024.
A global record
In May 2025, FZN in Dubai was awarded three Michelin stars, making Björn Frantzén the only chef in the world simultaneously operating three three-Michelin-star restaurants: Frantzén in Stockholm, Zén in Singapore, and FZN in Dubai. Nine Michelin stars. Three restaurants. Three countries. One chef.
